Terms and Conditions
Before booking a trip with us, please read and understand the booking conditions set out below (Booking Conditions) as they set out your legal rights and obligations in relation to your booking.
Before booking, please also read the basic travel information and important notes relating to your trip to ensure that you understand the itinerary, style and physical requirements of the trip.

1. Our Agreement
We will accept your booking based on this. The services provided are set out in your booking confirmation invoice.
In these booking conditions, references to «you» and «your» include the first person named on the booking and any other person acting on behalf of the booking or adding to or transferring the booking.
2. Privacy Policy
Any personal information we collect about you will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for regularly reviewing this Privacy Policy and for any changes to this Privacy Policy.
3. Deposit Requirements
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation.
If you are booking within 60 days of your departure date, full payment is due at the time of booking.
4. Accept the booking and final payment
If we accept your booking, we will issue a booking confirmation invoice.
The contract between you and us comes into force from the date we issue your confirmation invoice or, if you book within 60 days of departure, when we accept your payment.
Please refer to your booking confirmation invoice for details of final payment, including how to make payment.
The balance of the tour price is due 60 days prior tothe departure date, unless special circumstances dictate otherwise.
If the balance is not paid on or before the due date, we reserve the right to consider your reservation as cancelled and any cancellation fees will apply
5. Prices and Surcharges
Our tour prices are subject to variable and seasonal pricing, both of which are standard practice in the travel industry.
This means that our travel prices are subject to change at any time depending on demand, market conditions and availability.
It is likely that different passengers on the same trip will be charged different prices.
If you like the price you see, it’s best to book.
We reserve the right to apply additional fees up to 60 days before departure due to adverse exchange rate changes, increases in airfare or other transportation costs, increases in local operator costs, taxes or government measures that force us to do so.
In this case, we will be responsible for paying up to 5% of the trip price and you will be responsible for paying the balance.
If the surcharge increases the price of your trip by more than 10%, you can cancel your booking within 15 days of being notified of the surcharge and receive a full refund.
Please note that purchases made with a credit card may incur additional fees.
6. Your information
In order for us to confirm your travel arrangements, you must provide all requested information and the remaining part of the travel price.
The information required varies from tour to tour, including but not limited to your full name as shown on your passport, date of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue and expiry date, and any pre-existing health conditions that may affect your ability to complete your travel arrangements.
On some more demanding tours, we also ask you to complete and submit a self-assessment form, which will be provided to you by your sales representative.

7. you cancel
If you cancel part or all of your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies.
Cancellation will only take effect when we receive written confirmation that you wish to cancel.
If you cancel your trip:
a) 60 days or more before departure, we will keep your deposit as a deposit credit;
b) From 30 to 59 days before departure, we will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the total reservation amount;
c) From 29 to 15 days before departure, we will charge a cancellation fee of 70% of the total reservation price
d) 14 days or less before departure, a cancellation fee of 100% of the reservation value is charged.
8. Cancellation from us
Our tours are guaranteed once the client has paid in full, unless a minimum group size is clearly stated otherwise (as stated on the tour page or on our website), and reasonable travel arrangements can be made as set out in these booking conditions to change..
If we cancel your trip, you can transfer the amount paid to another departure date or receive a refund, unless your trip is cancelled due to force majeure.
9. Cancellation due to force majeure
In addition to the cancellation rights set out above, a trip may also be cancelled due to an event of force majeure occurring at or near your holiday destination which seriously affects the course of your holiday or significantly affects the arrangements for transport to your destination.
A «force majeure event» is any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the parties, whether foreseeable or not, which would make it dangerous or impractical to commence or continue the trip, including but not limited to: civil commotion or embargo; Any law, order, notice, statute, regulation, demand, requisition or requirement or any other act of any government authority.
In the event of cancellation, neither party will have any claim against the other party and we are not responsible for any incidental expenses incurred by you in connection with your booking, including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable expenses.
Important Note
Inca Trail and Machu Picchu Tickets and Permits
Please note that the Inca Trail Permit and Machu Picchu Ticket are issued in your name and are not transferable under any circumstances.
Once a license is purchased, dates cannot be changed, the license is non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you cancel your hike, your deposit will be forfeited.
Please note that these are Peruvian government regulations and not our or any agency’s policy.
Please note that these membership fees are non-refundable.
10. Reservation Changes
Transfers to third parties or replacement trips are only permitted if possible and in the event of a transfer to a third party, the recipient meets all travel-related requirements.

11. Included Content
Your base price for your trip includes, as indicated in your travel information itinerary:
- All accommodations
- All transportation
- Sightseeing and meals
- Group leader services
12. Exclusions
Your base price does not include:
- International or domestic flights (unless otherwise stated)
- Airport transfers, taxes and excess baggage fees (unless otherwise stated)
- Meals not specified in the additional itinerary information
- Visa and passport fees
- Travel insurance
- Optional activities and all personal expenses.
13. Age and Health Requirements
Minimum Age:
For most of our trips, the minimum age at the time of travel is 15 years. All travelers under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian or a person over the age of 18 who has been appointed by the legal guardian in place of the legal guardian.
The legal guardian or their designee will be responsible for the day-to-day care of travelers under the age of 18. If the legal guardian chooses to appoint a chaperone in their place, they must complete and sign documents delegating their authority.
Maximum Age:
Most of our tours do not have an age limit, however, please note that our tours can be physically demanding and passengers must ensure that they are able to fully participate. We can provide detailed information on mandatory health requirements, but we are not medical experts.
It is your responsibility to obtain appropriate and detailed medical advice at least two months before your travel so that you are up to date with the latest health requirements and advice for your destination.
14. Passports and visas
You are responsible for obtaining information and obtaining all necessary documents and identification to enter, exit and travel to each country or territory you visit during your trip.
This includes a valid passport and any travel documents required by us and/or relevant government authorities, including any visas, licenses and certificates (including but not limited to vaccination or medical certificates) and insurance policies.
Your passport must be valid for 6 months after the last date of travel shown on your itinerary.
15. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all our travelers and must be purchased at the time of booking.
Your travel insurance policy should provide coverage for accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of $200,000 for each type of coverage. We also strongly recommend that it covers cancellation, limitation, personal liability and loss of baggage and personal belongings.
On the first day of travel, you must provide your travel insurance policy number and the insurance company’s 24-hour emergency number.
16. Change itinerary
You understand and acknowledge that the nature of such travel requires considerable flexibility and that you should consider other options. The itinerary for each tour reflects the type of activities planned, but please note that due to local conditions or events, itineraries, schedules, routes, equipment and methods of transportation are subject to change without notice.
Before departure: If we make a significant change, we will notify you as soon as possible, if there is still time before departure.
Significant changes are defined as those that affect at least five days of the itinerary.
If there are significant changes, you have the option to accept the changes and pay the additional fees associated with the changes, receive a refund for the land portion of the route only, or accept a proposed alternative route.
After departure: We reserve the right to change the route after departure due to local conditions or force majeure. In the event of such an emergency, additional costs for necessary route changes will be borne by you.
Please note that we are not responsible for any incidental costs that may arise due to route changes, including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, or non-refundable or non-changeable flights.
17. Authority on Trip
Our tours are generally under the responsibility of the tour leader, whose decisions are final on all matters that may affect the safety or well-being of any traveler or personnel involved in the tour. If you fail to comply with the tour leader’s decisions, interfere with the well-being of the group or our ability to continue the tour as planned, the tour leader may instruct you to leave the tour immediately without any right to a refund.
We may also choose not to carry you on any future flights you have booked
You must always comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange and pharmaceutical regulation of all countries you visit, and agree to travel in accordance with our Responsible Travel Guidelines.
18.accept the risks
You acknowledge that the tour may be adventurous and that participation involves a certain amount of personal risk.
The political, cultural and geographical characteristics of the locations visited may pose greater dangers and physical challenges than we experience in our daily lives.
You acknowledge that you are choosing to travel during a time when you may be exposed to the Covid-19 virus.
We will take all reasonable steps to ensure your safety and may ask you to follow additional safety protocols during your travel.
19.Optional Activities
You acknowledge that the tour may be adventurous and that participation involves a certain amount of personal risk.
The political, cultural and geographical characteristics of the locations visited may pose greater dangers and physical challenges than we experience in our daily lives.
You acknowledge that you are choosing to travel during a time when you may be exposed to the Covid-19 virus.
We will take all reasonable steps to ensure your safety and may ask you to follow additional safety protocols during your travel.
20. Claims and Claims
If you have any complaints about your trip, please let your tour manager or our local representative know so they can try to rectify the problem. If you believe your complaint has not been resolved in this way, any further complaints must be submitted to us in writing within 30 days of the end of your trip.
