PERU VIVA, a leading travel agency based in Peru, has participated in different certifications to be able to practice responsible tourism for everyone in general and protecting the well being of everyone as well, that is why it is essential for us to share the ESNNA code as it is part of one of the regulations as a travel agency to operate in Peru for a more responsible tourism industry.
Refers to the protection from abuse of children or adolescents by individuals who travel from their homeland or nation of origin with the intention of engaging in sexual interactions with minors, either occasionally or more often.
Those who engage in sex tourism often use lodging, travel, and other tourism-related services that allow them to interact with young people and help them go unnoticed by others in their environment. This act is criminally punishable by imprisonment in the country of Peru.
WHAT CAN WE DO TO PREVENT THE PROBLEM FROM GROWING FURTHER?
Maintain an attitude of rejection of the SEC, warn of the prison sentence.
Immediately report all SEC cases to the Public Ministry or the National Police.
