TREK TOUR
This is a brilliant day out visiting the Humantay glacier lake surrounded by the Salkantay and Humantay mountains. It shiny green and blue water makes it one of the most beautiful lakes in Cusco.
Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco then we drive for 1.20 hrs. in order to arrive to Tarawasy Inca site (optional Visits) then continue for 40 minutes to Mollepata Town where we will stop to get some buffet breakfast, stretch our legs, relax a bit and buy some snacks also we will find a check point. Then it is 1 hr. more to get to Soraypampa (3,900 m) which is the beginning of the trek.
From there we can see the impressive snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay Mountains, it is about 1.5 to 2 hours walking up to the lake (4,250 m) with a low to moderate difficulty, and more than worth it when you see the magical view and see the magnificent water mirror in the middle of the Andes.
We will have enough time to take pictures, bring an offer to the Apus, and for the real brave ones, we will start our descent to Soraypampa of about 1.5 hours, which is a lot easier than the way up. In Mollepata town lunch will await us and after some rest we return to Cusco where we will arrive at 5 p.m. Then we will return to your hotel in Cusco city.

- As you can choose different ways of reaching Machu Picchu (Inca Trail, Quarry Trail or Train), there is a small chance you may be the only traveller on your selected option.
- All our trip are leading by a Tour Leader, an experienced local guide who will be in charge of taking the responsibility of the trip so you can relax and enjoy the trip. Your Tour Leader will provide more information on what the group options are at the welcome meeting.
