Our Story
Manuel, known as Manny, is the founder of Peru Viva and a passionate traveler and ambassador of sustainable tourism. His journey began in 2004, when he ventured as a backpacker through South America. From that experience, he explored various destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania and America, which cemented his vocation for tourism and exploration.
With more than 15 years of experience, Manny specialized in guided tourism, first as a local guide in Peru and then as a tour leader, leading groups in South America and connecting more than 4,000 travelers with local cultures. During his career, he committed himself to being a bridge between communities and travelers, promoting conscious tourism that respects local customs.
In 2024, he decided to go one step further and founded Peru Viva, with the goal of innovating and offering unique routes and experiences that allow travelers to discover unprecedented and authentic destinations. His approach is based on a deep knowledge of tourist destinations, a genuine connection with local communities and a commitment to share enriching experiences, always under a perspective of respect and mutual support.

The Peru Viva Foundation is the social support of the tourism industry in Peru, which began its social work in 2020 and has developed various programs to serve vulnerable groups in the Cusco region.
The main objectives of the Peru Viva Foundation are to promote economic development, environmental protection, the promotion of cultural and tourism activities, as well as the strengthening of human resources for children, youth and women in the areas of intervention.
